Factory KPIs, Second Build
The same KPI system as the other one, built independently from the same written specification - open both and compare.
This is a second, independent implementation of the factory KPI and balanced-scorecard system listed beside it. Both were built from one written specification, by different agents, without seeing each other's work. It does what the other does: managers define what is measured and how it behaves, assign each employee the KPIs they are accountable for over a year, and review results monthly with traffic-light status against target. It opens on the same kind of persona picker, so you can act as a plant manager and then as an employee and see the difference in what each may do, against a seeded year of real-looking data. If you only want to see the application, open the other one. This one is here for anybody interested in how far two independent builds of one specification actually diverge.
What it does
- Pick a role at the door and see the app as that person sees it
- Define a KPI: how it is measured, which way is good, and its tolerance
- Assign a year of KPIs to an employee and weight them
- Enter results and watch traffic-light status and achievement calculate
- Raise an improvement action and follow it to completion
- Compare it screen by screen with the other build
Who it is for
Manufacturing, Plant managers, Operations and continuous improvement, Anyone evaluating how consistently a specification gets built
